are you serious BH ? well if the hot
plates were shaped as: & W @ R and one
was covered, then you would determine
which one it was by looking at the
uncovered ones. The knob for the one
that was on would also indicate this

this is an old Idea, so my interest in it is
somewhat dim, but anyway [nomocrow]
the symbols or letters need to have a
degree of shape and surface volume to
create a larger surface area for heating up
ie '&' is better than 'V', but 'B's, 'M's and
'A's are ok along with a few other letters
and symbols. |
