Thank you for "leavening" many a workday. I have never entered a website so depressed, and left so puzzled, as I have with this one. After today you'll be rolling in dough.
phundug, Aug 10 2004

This is one of the best sites. Thanks a lot [Jutta] and all the selfless brilliant persons who provide rational inputs/ comments on silliest as well as really innovative ideas. May every birthday progressively prove to be halfway through the lifespan.
vedarshi, Aug 10 2004

¡Feliz cumpleaños Halfbakery!... thanks Jutta for creating this amazing website, where I have found beautiful perspectives of life to match the beautiful human beings they come from. Thanks to all bakers for sharing yourselves with the rest of us through your ideas and comments. You enrich my life every day.

       Whoop whoop! where's my hat?
skinflaps, Aug 10 2004

Yes, thank you. I think I've recorded elsewhere that the bakery and the folk herein have helped keep me sane over the last eighteen months.
egbert, Aug 10 2004

And here I thought we were trying to make each other crazy.
yabba do yabba dabba, Aug 10 2004

I see the Birthday has become an Anniversary. So long as the happy remains a happy :-)

Hats (halo generating) off to Jutta.
wagster, Aug 10 2004

Hooray! % :-) [and a tip of the hat to [jutta]].
Thanks to everyone who continues to provide spun, hacked, sanctified, and bespoilt visions of ordinary things. Such a site, and such great contributors, can't fail to improve the lot of one and all.
dpsyplc, Aug 10 2004

Well, I don't know what language that was, but I got ten bucks that says [bwv] is talking about cigarettes...
luecke, Aug 10 2004

k_sra, Aug 10 2004

This is the greatest website I've stumbled into (about a couple of weeks ago I was researching particleboard and I came across Cosmo's "Whole Grain Particle Board"--thanks Cosmo!) Happy anniversary, HB, and thank you, Jutta for a great website!

PS>>I think bwv's anno was in portuguese, luecke.

¡Feliz cumpleaños a la media panadería!
Y gracias Jutta por un gran tiempo.

I've gotta say this site is probably the only reason I use my computor. Thanks to Jutta and everyone else who made this site possible!

       <blows noisemaker> Omedeto! <is shoved back in closet>
lurch, Aug 10 2004

I agree with all of the above. And -

Thanks, Jutta. For having the mother of all ideas in the first place in setting up this site.

Thanks, moderators. For doing your thing so dilligently and fairly that most people don't actually know who you are.

And thanks to my fellow plebs too. For always being good company, and repeatedly making me laugh out loud in an otherwise darkened room.

Cheers, all. (Sadly, I did actually clink a glass of wine against my monitor just after I typed that)
lostdog, Aug 10 2004

[lostdog]i really liked the way you have expressed your feelings to thank one & all.
vedarshi, Aug 10 2004

Pretty much all of what everyone else said. (I have no glass of wine. If I did I would follow lostdog's example though.)
RobertKidney, Aug 10 2004
