An expensive-looking laptop computer shell: brushed aluminium or carbon-fibre... open it up and there's no laptop; Instead it's a carry-all for your netbook, cellphone, mp3-player, calculator and taser. The photocells on the outside will recharge them.

Of course the cheapasses among us can get the budget model: a pad of graph-paper attached to one side and a few various clips for pens/pencils/erasers/rulers, etc. on the other. For totally innocuous use press a button and a little wind-up music-box sounds muted beeps randomly.

The thicker, not-quite-so-rad model also has a sandwich compartment and a molded canteen.
