If your in a warm room why are you still wearing a jacket. And why couldnt you just unzip the thing and stand in front of a vent. If your going outside wouldnt your jacket already be at room temperature in the first place?. If your freezing while your wearing your coat, may i suggest buying another coat. |

I nearly had a sense of humour failure last week after coming in from a windy -26 (a dodgy metal filling doesn't help), until I saw on the weather news that Winnipeg had an expected 'high' that day in the -40s. Poor sods! |

An excellent idea, that, sadly, times have passed by. It is now the era of Al Gore initiated Global Warming...Air duct equipped jackets will no longer be needed. The proof of Global Warming is no longer debatable...notice the commentaries of -40 degree weather...what more proof does anyone need? |

Just today I was going to post an idea about gloves with a duct system that could have hot breath blown into it to warm hands. That exists. Then I was thinking of posting an entire jacket that could have hot breath blown into it from the collar. Then I saw this. I'm still cold. |

Also very useful in summer. Hook it up to an aircon vent. I use the long sleeves of my business shirts to force cold air inside them from the airvents on my car, on hot days. |

Me? I don't wear jackets on hot days. 40degC (about 104 F) is a tad warm for a jacket, I find. Wearing one on those days is a form of self-flagellation. |

The people in the idea? Vents tend to be in ceilings. I might be able to reach a ceiling but most people can't. |
