There are so many action 'heroes' and kung fu stars in the world today. Which is the best, the greatest?
Have an all-star martial arts tournament, where people like Jackie Chan and Jet Li get to duel with Arnie, Stallone and The Rock.
Everyone wins from it. Fans get to lay bets and have a
great time. Organisers earn money from the immense publicity. The fighters themselves get their chance at ultimate glory. And martial arts gets a boost. Bruce vs. Jackie

I'm backing Clint all the way. You know, dynamite tossing, pancho wearing, Colt-45 Clint, not that Bridges of Madison County imposter. I also predict Steven Segal gets karate chopped in the face three times by Woody Allen and starts to cry. |

Just for realism throw in a REAL fighter or two. |

Movie acting is *not* fighting. |

Even Mike Tyson lasts 20 secs max against some of the guys doing nightclub security, or Special Forces personnel, or Tactical Response police. |
|

You've confused action heroes with the really nasty, no-holds-barred guys who have to keep an eye on the human dregs of this world. |

I dont know about that Unabubba, i know when movie actors fight on screen it is very low contact, but their punches and kicks all look that if they actually connected they would actually do a lot of damage. Actors train for hours per day for fight sequences, besides the security on the Jerry Springer show, how many police or security personel get into fights or train several hours a day? |
|

Very few. When they actually do get into a stoush though, there's not much similarity between the real thing and movies. I've worked security and not many guys bounce back from a solid kick to the face. In fact, it's a good way to end up facing a manslaughter charge. |

Nor can you hit someone terribly hard in the head with a fist and expect your knuckles to stay unbroken. Elbows, knees, feet and the butt of the palm are very good weapons. It pays to pick your mark if you're going to headbutt someone. They tend to stay very hit if you get it right. Conversely, you will really hurt yourself if you headbutt someone on the wrong spot or with the wrong part of your head. |

The security guys on Springer's claptrap are more akin to WWF showponies, I imagine. I've only ever seen 10-15 mins of it in my life. I regret wasting those minutes. |
