It is an article of faith that children, young children, learn other languages more easily than do adults.
It is readily observed that young children are far more fond of novelty soups and pastas than their more conservative elders.
Alphabet Soup du Jour is an educational product, sold at tuckshops
and canteens. It includes characters with umlauts, the occasional çedilla, gravés, etc..
Later classes will incorporate other, radically different alphabets, such as Hebrew and Cyrillic.
