Asynchronous Voting

  (+10)(+10)
(+10)
  [vote for,
against]

Drop into a gov't office (that's set up to register votes), show ID and cast a ballot, at your convenience, any time. Change your mind ? go back and change your vote.

Every <term of office> the state of the ballot-database determines which candidate gets to show up for work the next morning, and which one finds their stuff dumped on the lawn.

---

• The most recent vote, whether made a few minutes or decades ago, is the one that counts.

• ballots are for a party, or an individual candidate(unaligned or aligned)

• votes are only valid while the candidate or party continues to run in the riding and the voter is deemed resident. The voter can void the ballot as well (ie: 'undecided')

[+] I would go many steps further and have a political discussion forum where those with the highest rated ideas, depending on their interest, run government when the reigns change hands.

I'd also have the highest rated ideas become larger referendums.

I think people would vote once for all time and be done with it.

Why not just have an election that goes on for two days or so giving people more time to vote?

Politician = expert at being highly rated by voters.

How about you can only vote the day before your Birthday ? ( Assuming you drunk out of your mind on Bday and the day after. )
