I present to ye halfbakers an issue that effects all of us on a weekly basis:
Hmmmm, laundry, this is an alltogether interesting thing to consider. I wonder if it is efficient to have an entire load transported, washed, sorted, folded, retransported, and put away all automatically. You know, just
take off and place in the transporter bin once every night before you go to bed, and once a week you magically get it back in your respective closet and droors. Hmmmm, I'm brewing an idea here.
First off, at the end of the day, your daily laundry supply could be transported directly down to the machine by a vaccuum tube equipped with an automatic clothes ejecter mechanism for when it reaches the end of its vacuum tube journey.
Then it could be sorted by a camera and arm with optical sensors on it into whites and colors.
Then, when your whites or colors pile exceeds a certain weight, the machine compacts the pile and inserts it into the washer, and automatically runs the load.
Then "Automated Washer to Dryer Transfer"
Then something similar to the "Flatbed Laundry" Idea
Then clothes are vacuum tubed back upstairs.
Then "Clothes Hanging/Folding Machine" idea.
Any takers or suggestions?
