Automatic Shower Cleaner

A miniature version of the pool scrubber.

A simple self-propelled device, equipped with suction cups, a scrub brush and a soap container for bliss to fill with scented suds. Put it in the shower stall, close the door and let it go to work. It would ricochet from point to point removing all the scary mold and scum. (Could only be used for tubs and showers with full doors, as it would escape out the vinyl curtain and be found blocks away scrubbing someone's car.)

Roomba Intelligent Sweeper Vac http://www.hammache...m/publish/66632.asp
The "floor vacuum" version of this idea is already [baked], as you can see in this link. [krelnik, Oct 11 2002]

Annotation:

Make it look just like the cartoonish "scrubbing bubbles" that appear in the commercials for that spray cleaner product. Your device would behave just like the cartoon bubbles do (and exactly like the actual product doesn't).

you can have the first two prototypes, complete with vanilla scented soap, but they will be about 10K each (mind that is Canadian dollars, so about a dollar a piece US). Deep breaths bliss! this too will pass.

Have the little buggers running while you are in the shower. Fun, Fun, Fun.

I'd imagine flocking road cones would be afraid of them. Don't know why -- it just seems right.

these have become far more AI'd then I expected them to be.

"AI'd?" Hmmm, that may be a new form. Artificially intelligenced stuff. One could perhaps apply that to the transformation of Charly in the story, "Flowers For Algernon." Charly was, through surgery, "AI'd."

       More clearly:

Have the little buggers running up your leg while you are in the shower. Fun, Fun, Fun.

that would be the 'automatic person cleaner' option, where you stand there and they run around scrubbing you. be advised to keep your mouth shut during this procedure. best suited to the single people in the group.

We have been getting lots of self-propelling semi-intelligent thingies recently... socks and roadcones and shower cleaners and whatnot crawling around all over the place... Soon there will be enough of them to gang up and take over the Earth.

The road cones ambush you and wall you in, which gives the shower cleaners a chance to jump you and knock you down, while the socks strangle you...

I want one of these and one of the Roombas please.
