Helps prevent soap scum for the lazier members of the family.

Tilex Fresh Shower (tm) is great stuff. It really works. However, some of the members of my family are more forgetful, and don't mist the shower afterwards. This product would attach to the shower walls with suction cups, and would detect with a motion sensor and light sensor when the person leaves the shower and closes the curtain. After the person leaves, it pumps the solution through multiple nozzles, quickly misting the whole shower. The bottle of the product of choice would screw into the bottom of the unit, and it would hopefully only need a few "D" size batteries. The purpose of the light sensor is to make sure the individual closes the curtain. Since different curtains let in different amounts of light, an adjustment knob would be needed. The device would not fire unless the motion sensor is also able to tell that the water's off (an easy accomplishment if it's a motion sensor that utilizes infrared technology.) This would prevent the machine firing when a person just opens the curtain to turn on the shower and wait for it to warm up.

Sp: accusations - *alarms* might be more accurate, anyway. This shower device uses a separate, automatic device to complete it's portion of the task, then the shower automatically completes the task by goiving a rinse, right? Based on your recommendation, I'll give the Tilex a go. As for me, I'd prefer an Automatic Shower Miss. +

[Thumbwax] As for the spelling, changed, and thanks. As for the rest of your annotation, no offense, but it doesn't make a bit of sense.

Automatic Shower Miss! She's like the Jolly Green Giant but she wears a french maids get up no?

[thumbwax]: the way I read it, the device mists the shower after the showeree exits. The "Clean Shower", "Tilex Fresh Shower" and similar products aren't supposed to be rinsed off. Mist on, walk away.

I like this idea because the mist from those products causes me to wheeze, cough and choke as if someone is blowing cigarette smoke in my face. One of these days I'll be found, bottle of "Clean Shower" in hand, unconscious or dead in the shower stall...but it'll be a clean shower stall.

Take up smoking and then, at least, you'll raise the chances somewhat of not dying in the shower. Consider it a pre-emptive strike. A lucky strike, if you will.

Heh. Gee, thanks, bristolz. I appreciate your concern. Anybody got a lighter?
