If we could harness the energy of toddlers as they move around, we could use it to run our hot tubs, air conditioners, computers, etc.

And massive methane production... |
|

Of course, if the methane could be collected, we wouldhave an additional fuel source. |

No, zippyanna...I think mrthingy is saying we harness the kinetic energy of the kids, kinda like one of those watches that you recharge by swinging your arm. In the Matrix they used the chemical energy of humans. |

Use a set of micro-generators attached to armatures coupled to the child's appendages (you'll need a good piston and gear setup for this). Attach this to a tether that hooks to a runner that spans the house (this way the child can still get around. You could even make the tether short enough to keep the child out of dangerous items...bonus.) As the child moves, the armatures/pistons/gears drive the generators thus providing electricity for the home. |

Mephista's right, small children are like thermodynamics: you can't win, you can't break even...You can only try to relax and enjoy the ride. |

make magnetic diapers, and a large coil under the floor. As the baby crawls around, it induces current in the coil generating power to save California. |

What about baby oil? Could you use it to run cars? |
