You've got to listen to the whole thing! [21 Quest, Mar 31 2009]

       Uh...

Does this involve potassium carbonate in some way?

       Where's the pre-post sobriety checkers?

an idea so minimalistic that it barely fills the description and nothing spills over into the body proper. Admittedly some groundbreaking ideas are this simple but the inventor needs to give this emaciated idea some fatty adjectives, some nouns, and at least one verb.

I'm trying to figure out exactly which of the many definitions for the word "tout" applies to this idea, and failing utterly.
21 Quest, Mar 30 2009

//fatty adjectives// I had those for awhile. They were awful.

....she asked for a double entendre..... two nuns... more than a handful.. prince albert.....

       Yer um, participles are dangling.

This works. Perfectly zen-like in its minimalism. [+]

//I'm trying to figure out exactly which of the many definitions for the word "tout" // Hint: it ain't "ticket"

Clever (even though it might be a bid for a high NVPW (q.v.) score)
hippo, Mar 31 2009

NVPW would be better if the arrow were removed - it's not necessary, and, if we accept that a picture is worth a thousand words, the NVPW drops *way* down.

Yes I like it too. I wonder whether pea-trifle might actually be quite nice - green-tea ice-cream is the most satisfying flavour ever, and I can see pea-flavoured blancmange working in a similar way.
zen_tom, Mar 31 2009

//would be better if the arrow were removed// Compromise: removed a bit.
bigsleep, Mar 31 2009

Oh, don't mind me [bigsleep] - I was referring only to your NVPW (Net Votes Per Word) score.
zen_tom, Mar 31 2009

       //NVPM//

       Currently 0.2...
theleopard, Mar 31 2009

You could up the NVPW by deleting two superfluous indefinite articles.
coprocephalous, Mar 31 2009

Now I'm resisting the urge to treat "small trifle" as a truism.
