Business Rings
"He gave me his ringcard 20 years ago. I still wear it." | |
Business cards are too disposable. You want someone to really remember you? Carve your contact details into an 18K gold ring. People will remember your business... they'll call you, mark my words. If you don't want them melted down and sold then have them made from tungsten.

It says here on the ring that your urologist is at 415 Prince Albert Street. The number is 0772...oh just wait a bit...<yanks>... |

Not quite as useful as Steve Wozniak's business card (link) - made, I think, from titanium and capable of cutting through steak. |
|
| |
I like the Wozniak card. Very cool concept. |

Nope, coolest business card was for a locksmith, which had lockpick tools laser cut in it. Only downside is that possession of the card may be illegal in some places, which I think makes it even cooler. I'll put up a link when I get to a real computer. |

Kevin Mitnick went to gaol for his part in a massive hacking scandal in the 1990s. He was not a locksmith. |
|
| |
looking at my spouse's stack of business cards (we keep them all) I can't fathom gold rings. |
|
| |
[UnaBubba] I stand corrected, Kevin Mitnick is not a locksmith but an ex-con turned security expert. |
|
| |
And you have added a new spelling for jail to my vocabulary, which is cool too. |
|

In mitigation of your sentence [MrQED], he was an *un*locksmith. |
|
| |
That's how it was spelled before Noah Webster got at it. |
|

Well, there were a Mirriam of other possible spellings. Ah fuck... a merriam. |
