Half a croissant, on a plate, with a sign in front of it saying '50c'

Sometimes I get the impression that I live in a totally different time zone compared to everybody else. Nothing happens while I am logged in, and then I go away and come back and everything has happened in my absence.

Either there is a conspiracy directed against myself, in which case the idea won't help. Or there are certain times when there are more people here than otherwise. I would like to see the statistics - at what time of the day do people post the most? Maybe also run the statistics separately for ideas and annotations - some parts of the day we might be more creative, other times just idly commenting others' ideas.

People could then choose, if they wanted to, to post at a time when annotations are most probable to happen (if they like seeing the croissants pop in) or at a time when ideas are most infrequent (to get all the attention).

       My observation:

       (Eastern standard time -0500 UTC)

The day begins at about 2:30 with UK postings (often Rods Tiger) which continue while I am sleeping. A lot of activity from about 8:00 on through about 12:30 and then tapering off to a dribble. Some mild evening activity from about 19:00 to 21:00 and then hardly anything the rest of the night until it starts all over again.

Monday seems to be the heaviest but Saturday can be busy as well.

Well, if I must mutter, at least I have serious things about which to mutter. However, I was not sneaking. I had an appointment to keep.

       Welcome back, bliss.
