Do you eat the red ones last?

Looking at a stripped length of Cat-5e cable today, I was struck by how tasty it looked.

Kids would go apeshit for a bowl of pasta that was thin threads in 6 or 7 different colours (vivid, whoopass bright colours), served in a white bowl. I know my kids would.

Sure, there's alraedy tricolor pastas around, but I'm talking Fisher-Price colours. Flavours can also be added... Raspberry, blueberry, lime, banana, vanilla, licorice, chocolate, for added attraction.

Each colour contains a different mix of essential vitamins and minerals, that kids will never know they are eating.

"I ate 15 metres of cableghetti, for dinner, Dad!"

Yeah - my kids would dig it too. With flavors it sounds more like a dessert.

That's what kids eat. Idea amended.

I have 5 cats, but only two of them like spaghetti. They all play with cable though.
No kids = no opinion.

I'd buy ribbon-cable-ghetti, in sheets for a special lasagne. [+]

       Techie spaghetti. Yummy.

Say that does look mighty yummy.

Roughly 1 in a 100 strands of cableghetti will have the word "Crossover" etched in tiny letters along its length.

       Talk about encouraging kids to play with their food;

“Look Daddy! I just ate wires three, six, seven, and eight, and still have a working ethernet cable!”

“Daddy, I ate wires three, four, five, and six, and I’m all done. Can I have some ice cream now?”
“Not until you finish your DIN.”
(Oh my God that was bad - must be Friday)

Hi-fi geeks will claim that cableghetti tastes better when eaten in one direction than the other...
hippo, Mar 11 2005

Does it come with repeaters and line drivers for when you’re *really* hungry?
Shz, Mar 11 2005

Or for really fast eaters, it comes in Fibre Channel variety - a pasta sheath with a core of cellophane noodles - a real giga bite.
