A small submarine build for a dog. It is constructed of strong but lightweight materials, like titanium or fiberglass, and there are 2 options for power.
1) a simple prop, powered by a treadmill the dog runs on. Steering in this mode is done through a transmitter attached to a hat on the dog's head.
If the dog turns his/her head to look in a certain direction, the steering vanes are adjusted to turn the craft in that direction.
2) holes in the bottom, so the dog can doggy-paddle it's way along, and even walk its way out of the water. The legs protrude into glove-like thingies sticking out the bottom so water doesn't get in.
Kind of like this?

when I clicked, to put the link in place,
jhomrighaus's one just appeared as well -
same image, different source, but + for
idea anyway as it has its own unique
features. |

Believe it or not, I did an extensive Google search for "pet submarines", "dog submarines", "submarines for pets", and a lot of other combinations of those words. I couldn't find a thing. How'd you find those? |
