Cat Chuck Prevention

Oh, no you don't.

Cats hurl, inexplicably, on anything that happens to be handy. No-one knows why they do this.

The CCP device is a simple dispenser. It delivers one piece of cat kibble every 30 seconds or so, if the cat is within the limited range of its infrared sensors.

The cat can only eat one cat biscuit every 30 seconds, maximum. It shuts off for a half hour after counting out 50 cat biscuits.

Sure, your cat will turn into a kibble junkie, waiting in a shivering, foreleg-scratching bundle of fur for the next pellet, but you won't step in a cold, congealed puddle of semi-digested catfood anymore at 3:00am as you stumble to the dunny, either.

Annotation:

Hmm. Make the firing mechanism like a DTL clay-pigeon trap; changes its traverse and elevation randomly between each pellet. Thus, kitty not only gets food in small doses, but also gets plenty of exercise in between.

I am tempted to give this a croissant, even though it is a pro-cat idea.

// Cats hurl, inexplicably // Nop, they do it out of spite and malice. Why else do they do it under the exact geometric centre of the bed, instead of the nice washable utility room floor ?

       Good point.

8th of 7, only an attentive cat owner would know this...

Have an e before you run now.

Maybe they puke out of affection as in South Park,i doubt this though.

I do wonder if your cat's digestive problems have any relation to these "kibble pellets"...?
DrCurry, Oct 21 2002

       Nope. They do it deliberately.

First glance I thought it would be something to keep me from tossing the cat around...

//tossing the cat...// To "toss" means something else where i come from.... probably why the cat chucks up in the middle of your bed, 8th.
