Charming "The Snake"

The more you play with it, the better you play.

At first, The Snake appears lifeless, coiled limp and out of sight within the wood container, but turn it on, and it comes alive. There's nothing magical about charming the big fella. Simply send it the right signals and watch as it presents itself in all its glory.

The Snake works by comparing the vibrations you provide with those on a recording. The song recordings have separate tracks for the instrument of your choosing. You can learn to play songs with your instrument included, then turn the volume down on that track as you become proficient. The Snake will compare your playing to that of the separate track even when that track is inaudible.

When The Snake likes your playing, it will stand erect. If it loves your playing, it will gyrate rhythmically. You can make it harder by adjusting the sensitivity, so it's perfect for all skill levels.

Whether you're handy with woodwinds, polishing up some new slide tube licks, or just discovering the organ; Perform for The Snake, and The Snake will perform for you. You'll be an expert before long. And non-musicians need not miss the fun. Hummers and whistlers can charm The Snake just fine. You know how to whistle, don't you?

       You are retarded... : )

I thought it was rather clever, [k]. gotta love a guy who can tell a good story.

If the Snake has stayed erect for longer than 4 hours, call Customer Service

You just put your lips together and blow.

I didn't say it wasn't clever, I just said [shz] was retarded. But in a good way. Anybody who can work that hard for some inuendo deserves kudos.

I thought this was going to have something to do with Kurt Russell at a tea party.

Good grief, 16 buns and only 7 annos, you seemed to have touched the halfbakers in a special place, [shz]

Seems there’s a lot of people making music here.

       [k_sra] Yeah, only mentally, though.

[UB] Most people run out of juice before morning. Perhaps if one were to try it with stimulants, then we may know.

Ok, I'm sorry, but I couldn't pass this one up: After seeing the single negative vote:

"Looks like the autoboner struck again"
sophocles, Mar 23 2005

Well, you don't expect an idea like this to be shoved down our throats without any protest, do you?
shapu, Mar 23 2005

I can see further market penetration with instructional videos, as well. Professional Snake charmers could come together and demonstrate more advanced snake manipulation techniques with larger instruments than the average user may be used to. Of course, any Snake getting that much action would probably need to be lubed every now and then; I'd imagine a whole line of Snake Charming lubes would be necessary.
