Cheek Guard

Stop biting yourself when you eat.

I and a few other people I have met tend to bite their lips and cheeks when eating at a rate far surpassing normal.

I'm not talking about a nip... I'm talking about tearing a nice chunk of flesh out of your cheek with plenty of blood. Then it of course turns into a giant, painfull, oozing two-week long cold sore. This happens to me every few months.

Solution: A plastic or firm rubber insert into the mouth that acts as a barrier between your teeth and the inside of your mouth.

Maybe something you wear on the outside that pulls your cheeks apart would be 'better'.

It will make you look silly, needs cleaned, will be difficult to get used to. It's worth it to prevent everyone in a reastraunt staring at me when I suddenly spit my food all over and start screaming and stuffing a napkin in my mouth to staunch the flow of blood and hopping up and down in my chair while I mumble and swear loudly.

Every time I do that I SWEAR I'll invent the mouth guard, but after the trauma passes in a week it just doesn't seem worth the inconvience of using it.
