CommWatch
For discreet inter-cubicle comminucation. | |
Using a Bluetooth-capable keyboard, which currently exist for document composition on smartphones, and a Bluetooth-capable watch, which also currently exists, a few modifications can be made to come up with a great way for interoffice communication.
This idea is for a Bluetooth-capable digital watch
that synchs with a modified Bluetooth-capable keyboard. The keyboard is discretely snuck into your office and replaces the compnay-issued keyboard, where it plugs into the computer via USB and operates as usual. With the press of a side button (with a discreet green or orange indicator light next to the caps-lock, number-lock, and scroll-lock buttons) the keyboard switches from its connection with the computer and syncs with the watch.
You then type the message you wish to send to your friend/co-conspirator and discreetly view the text on your watch's screen. It does not show up on your computer's screen at all. Once your message is typed, an encrypted radio transmitter in the keyboard sends the message across the office to your counterpart's keyboard, and through the keyboard's Bluetooth connecttion to his watch's screen, where he can view it discretely.
Once you're done typing, flip the switch and resume typing on the computer, and all the while you've appeard hard at work.
Here ya go, [po]!

Well yeah. It's meant to be discreet, so you can message your buddy across the office without getting caught. |

I just googled, "can bluetooth text be intercepted" and there is some technology out there, but it is not used by the public at large |
|
| |
I've never heard of it being used by management in a workplace,
either. |
