Concert Catering Cannons
"Just point and shoot, Joe"

Catering at massive concerts (U2, Live8, etc.) could be greatly enhanced by using large bore cannons stuffed with precut food.

Systematic shots of bread, pickles, tomato slices, hamburger and ketchup will give everyone a burger, included in the exorbitant ticket price. Don't like pickles? Keep your mouth shut.

Wash it all down with Coke, Gatorade and then water, delivered through fire hoses to wash all of the ichor off the grateful throng.

Alternatives include prewrapped cheeseburgers, airdropped by firefighting helicopters.

Nice. Whose toes have I stepped on, now?

Someone who doesn't like having minced burger shot at them?

wagster, Sep 26 2005

When has that ever stopped fans fom going to a concert?

UnaBubba, Sep 26 2005

Doesn't mean that we would want to encourage the practice though. The last paragraph isn't too bad an idea, if just for the pre-wrapped part.
I was expecting this to be a [sleeka] idea.

I wasn't game to suggest bottled water from helicopters. I think that would be something for the "Shock & Awe" department.

The same toes that been boning you for 'bout 5 years now, I'd guess.

Prefer to keep the drink in the bottle, delivered with little parachutes with the Coke logo on them. Sounds like a winner to me.

       "cannon" plural "cannon"

coprocephalous, Sep 27 2005

In normal circumstances, yes. In this case we are dealing with different types of cannon, food and water.

UnaBubba, Sep 27 2005

       // "cannon" plural "cannon" //
all well and good but this is an idea for cannons

schmendrick, Sep 28 2005

No canons were harmed in the making of this idea. Nor any deacons.
