Covert Disabling of Diplomats

Hamper the senses of diplomats and spies.

It was in the news recently that Cuba is using stealth weapons to impair the hearing and brain function of diplomats. This might be how it was done, but its an equally stealthy technique.

The idea is to promote certain Havana venues to americans or other nationalities e.g. by calling them 'The American Bar' etc. When the foreigners show up, the bar goes into stealth mode and deploys its anti-spy measures.

1) To maximise the damage to hearing, the music played in the bar is selected from tunes with a really heavy bass riff. The volume is also turned up one more notch.

2) Beverages served are laced with a toxic substance like ethyl hydroxide which over time can severely disable brain function.

On returning to the US, medical screening of staff will be full of reports of splitting headaches, reduced brain function, ringing in the ears and other hearing loss.

Surely even an oppressive Marxist regime wouldn't sink that low ?

They should put warning labels on anything containing ethyl hydroxide. Nasty stuff that is.
