Based on the same technology as those gel capsules used for medications but that contain coffee creamer. Drop into your coffee and the gel coat dissolves to release the creamer into your coffee.

Manufacturing would be identical to paint balls so no new technology would be required to implement.

       Mmmmm, Gel Coat.

The capsules could be made of sweetener in varying strengths from 'none' to 'hurt your teeth'. In that way you would cover all of the traditional additive possibilities.

What is the problem to be solved here? Coffee too simple?

I don't think I've seen them in the U.S., but in England I've seen coffee/tea sweetener tablets (sacharin). One rather small tablet is equivalent to a packet of sweetener.

Mm...interesting...but could you fit enough liquid into the creamer? And it wouldn't have much of a cooling effect. How about using a sachet that dissolves in hot water, like those bath scents?
