Cup Air
Your seats can be heated and chilled, why not your drinks? | |
It's quite common to have heated seats in your car nowadays, and many luxury models now also have air-conditioned seats.
Well, why not your drink. Use the base and sides of the common cup holder to either heat or chill your drinks as required.

Chevrolet trucks (had a '97 truck) used to have a cupholder right in front of an air vent. Stick your can in the holder, and the air conditioner cools it. Same goes for heat. Only problem is, if you want your coffee hot in the morning, and it's hot outside, you're not going to turn on the heat. |

Try using a thermoelectric cooler, they come in sizes to fit a 6-pack or larger. Plugs in the lighter socket, cools and heats (not at the same time, of course). I've had several, the fan motor usually goes dead long before the electronics give up. |
