I love to read. That's part of the appeal to the internet: tons of interesting content. But like many readers, I prefer to read paper copy -- it's easier on the eyes. Besides, it's much more relaxing to kick back in an easy chair or lay in bed and read than it is to sit at your computer desk.

What if there were a web-based company that allowed you to enter in your very specific reading preferences? You could specify general categories (related to your hobbies/interests) or even specific websites. Then, on a weekly or monthly basis, they create hardcopy of the latest new content according to your preferences using both *very* sophisticated software that they continue to develop and a staff who is responsible for selecting the best general content. They mail you a well-formatted, easy-to-read, bound publication of articles compiled from web content in return for a reasonable subscription fee.

Although you could accomplish the same by visiting web sites and printing the content, it would be more of a hassle and wouldn't provide the well-formated, easy-to-read document created by more sophisticated software.

I'm more interested in hobby and personal interests than industry/business compilations.

Buy an HP inkjet and subscribe to just about any online current affairs website. Or alternatively buy a Palm or Symbian Phone and sync Avant Go with a few of your favourite sites.   Failing than why not buy an Internet TV and just browse with out having to go down stairs and collect your pesky hard copy newspaper.

The point is to not have to search for the material, and to not read from your pesky screen. [+]

Then get someone to search for it for you. Pay them a pittance. If enough people do it the searcher will become a 'media mogul' and live in a large, fake Tuscany mansion on a hill somewhere.
