Having mailroom juniors to deliver the internal mail is all well and good but we really need something with personality... or, rather, absolutely none.
Having your exciting memos (the ones advising of next week's kitchen roster and the new telephone list) delivered by small, whirring, menacing Daleks
seems much more sensible to me.
If you don't pay attention to them they shoot the shit out of your wastebasket, or they go and headbutt the busted-ass photocopier, or something.
They can also be programmed to hunt and track a single employee, herding them to the meeting for which they are running late; or just out of spite.
No time travellers were harmed in the making of this idea. [link]

We live in an electronic age, negating the need for hand/robot delivered memos. More tragically, we live in an age of loose carpet tiles - the Dalek's Archilles heel. |
|

I like the hunting and herding thing though, so bun. |

the boss must dress and sound like davros. unless of course he or she already does. . |

This would provide hours of entertainment. What happens in an office that has stairs? |
|
| |
Someone else here pointed out that the Daleks could fly. |
|
| |
well, *levitate* to be more accurate. probably the worst thing about the last series |
|
| |
In an office with stairs they simply LASER a hole in the floor and rappel down; or LASER a hole in the ceiling and grapple up. |
|
| |
Hopefully the hole won't be above or below your desk. |

You found that worse than having clumsy cartoon-ish 'robot' renditions of Trinny and Suzannah, and Anne Robinson, persisting far into the future? |
|
| |
must have missed that! there's a text message on your phone btw. |
|
| |
The daleks could levitate in the original series. They did it in 'Remembrance of the Daleks', 1988. Incidentally, i am planning to construct a life size dalek, but so far have only managed to make the eye discs. It's important that all dalek ideas are alliterative, don't you think? |

//It's important that all dalek ideas are alliterative// Having seen that the innards of a dalek looks like an animated docker's oyster, I don't want to think about Dalek Dalliances <shudders> |

So long as it doesn't frighten the horses. |

Daleks are the new pirates. |
