Store-bought tortillas are typically unappetizing and full of preservatives, and go bad quickly anyway.
Homemade tortillas are infinitely better, so I'm told. However, few have the time to make tortillas for themselves, and typical Mexican restaurants use store-bought tortillas as well.
I propose
that grocery stores could market deli fresh tortillas to the ever increasing "homemade/natural/gourmet" crowd. I have never seen fresh tortillas at a store deli, correct me if I'm wrong but I think it just isn't baked (or pan-fried). Grande Foods, Portland

I dunno about that, I've been to quite a few where they make the tortillas in the middle of the restaurant so the patrons can watch them cook. |

Never eaten in Oregon, just passed through, but here in Washington and all throughout the southern states it's quite common to find restaurants that make the tortillas. |

I keep mine in the freezer, when I want 6 I may have to use a butter knife to pry them apart.Usually they just pop apart without any breakage. |
