Chinese Hairless dogs can have implanted blue tooth/3G-enabled LED screen phones placed under their skin. These won't have to be recharged except by feeding the dog. People can hold their toy dog up to their face and have a conversation. Or surf the web if they can sit still enough.

My slant on this would be to have the phone ring activate a dog trainer - type electric shock for the dog. The whenever the little bugger is yapping away, all you have to do is call the number... |
