Doomsday Movement Clock

Repent, ye sinners, as the wise ones in charge of the Doomsday Clock have pronounced us to be at 5 minutes to midnight yet again.

The clock, having not moved in a few years, and having actually moved backward since the days of the Cold War, is clearly lacking in granularity.

What good is it to know that it's 5 minutes to Doomsday if nothing ever changes until it's too late? At this rate, might as well call it 5 minutes to Doomsday because of the potential 2036 asteroid hit, or the eventual absorption of the Earth by the expanding Sun, or the arrival of aliens.

How much more interesting is the US National Debt clock -- that's at least moving every millisecond. But, that also has a flaw in that it takes like months to move a number on the left. We need something more in the now.

Announcing the real-time Doomsday Movement clock, that is showing you how everyday decisions that you and those around you make tick the Doomsday clock forward or backward.

TBD: is actually checking the clock on your phone ticking it forward? Probably.
