This game involves 3 or more people. One
of them is a janitor/clerk trying to do his
job by sweeping the floor of a store. He
must be using one of those dustpan on a
stick things.
Basically all the other players take a
receipt and divide into teams. One team
crumples the receipt into
a small ball and
tries to score (edit: by means of kicking it) into the dustpan while the other team defends. The defending team
should be subtle, as the janitor will likely
try to help the offence to pick up the
trash.
Edit:
the general rules of soccer apply, no hands and the like.

Actually, Wikipedia's definition of the game is different than the way I played. Wow... I've never heard of it played that way. My friends used to kick a soda can around, playing a game similar to what's described in the post, and we called it "kick the can". I had no idea there were rules to the game... |

btw, I didn't bone this, because I always enjoyed the game and it *is* a good idea. I just thought it was too similar to my old childhood game to get a bun for originality. |

'Kick The Can' = 'Block 1-2-3' or 'Blockie'. Best played with the can replaced by the front door of the most miserable sod on the estate. |

po, it's nothing like golf. They're running around trying to kick the reciept into the dustpan, while the opposing team tries to prevent it from getting into the dustpan. It's (if I understand this idea properly) basically mobile soccer. |

I'm sorry but americans just don't *get* soccer (a bit like the late departed UnaBubba) - it's the beautiful game - not flicking a bit of paper into a waste paper bin - now That is Golf. |

I dunno, some do, some don't. I've been positively surprised by the quality of footy coverage on one of the North American networks. 3 live premiership matches every Saturday ain't bad. Would be nice if the coverage hung around for the post match interviews though. |
