Half a croissant, on a plate, with a sign in front of it saying '50c'

Expensive, difficult, slightly dangerous, not particularly effective... I'm on a roll.

Well, they're beer cans that you can eat. Made out of something that will last long enough to drink the beer without disintergrating and then you've got the post booze snack. Alternatively you could have them microvable or boilable but with a variety of greasy chip shop delights for flavour i.e. kebab - with or without chilli sauce - chips and fish. Everyone knows that after you've drank enough to need this kind of snack the texture isn't really important and the taste is pretty basic. Even if you're not feeling all that peckish at the time, you can save up your empties and invite your friends round for dinner. This also reduces the need to recycle as the traditional metal can should be.

Yeah, I reckon it's perfectly feasible to make cans out of kebab material. In fact, I'm rushing off to patent it as we speak. Seriously though, would you want a "kebab" after every beer?

Well, we did edible cups once. I suppose we could recycle the same technology.

What if someone got really hungry and there was no food, just beer. It could get really messy, really quickly.

What, you can't eat the beer cans now?

What, you can't open them with fake electrons?

I've just got back in from 'a night out'...if only some of the bottles had been edible I'd have saved the effort of cooking snacks when I got back home...croissant from me.
