Hitch it up for those slow commutes

If you have a big diesel SUV with a manual transmission, slow, stop and go commutes are an exercise in restraining road rage.

If you had an 'Electic Outboard Trolling Motor' (tm) attached to your hitch, you could just drop it down during periods of slow commuting and let an electric motor handle the situation, and any hassle in shifting from 1st to 2nd gear and back repeatedly. No need to get into fancy drivetrain conversion of your current vehicle. Simply slip into neutral and relax.

Attached is a link showing how the hitch could be used (in an unpowered situation)

That is the opposite of restraint.

I only use snoughplows, when it is snoughing, to slough snough off the path.
