I would love a tank full of artificial goldfish, with translucent scales that emit an eerie glow from within. They would be battery operated, come in a variety of colours, and wag their tails for propulsion just like real fish. They would be really cool to watch at night with all the lights in the
house off. Artificial Fish Aquarium
http://www.brandson...fake-fish-tank.html Not sure if these glow, but they do move independently and don't require feeding. [jurist, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004]

Why not just run a "fish tank" screen saver on your PC |
|
| |
Because that would be boring. |

There are real glowing fish, you know. Unless this is a convinience thing too? |

my brother had an artificial fish that moved around. I cannot remember how it was powered though and it was just the one... |

There are plenty of fish that really light up under black light (many pet shops display them that way) - so much cooler to have the real thing, surely? |

po: re earlier link, how about a glowing fish tank bra? |
|

only if it is 44DD. keeping fish in small containers is cruel. |

//a glowing fish tank bra// That I gotta see |

Feed regular goldfish radioactive waste. If they develop super powers all the better. Be careful they don't fly away or melt the side of the tank with laser eyes though. |

The Japanese toymakers Takara make a selection of robotic fish and (I think) a robot jellyfish and a crab that could be suitably painted for your purposes, though perhaps you might consider them too large. |
