Termite mounds are boring, and the termites must get sick of living in them, that's probably why they start eating people's houses. The idea is to install a pre-cast model of a famous building in your garden to keep your termites happy. An off the peg range of buildings would be available, from the White House, Buckingham Palace to ancient monuments like the Temple of Angkor Wat, Sphinx etc. Naturally the termites would quickly customise the buildings to suit their needs resulting in no two buildings being the same.
