Software could do it but here is a simple
hardware way. In video cameras often
times there is a prism. The image is
refracted and the colors get sent to 3
CCDs and each CCD represents one of the
three colors. Simply switching the wires
after this point will give you a picture with
some
unnatural and wild color
combinations.
