Akin to the game sim-ants, a colony of bacteria is pit against
others, in a battle for pure-gut domination! Battles involve
taking charge of resources, and evolving different abilities to
spread territory and eliminate any challenging colonies. This
game could also be used as an educational
tool. Changing
the diet between good diets and bad, can virtualize how each
food is digested and why it is important to maintain a healthy
diet. One could also introduce into the diet things such as
metal, glass, fiberglass, rotten food, live animals/bugs,
boiling water, lava, etc., although this would be an option
only after you've conquered the gut (meaning the creation of
a symbiotic relationship with your host).
