Third Voice lets you effectively leave sticky notes on web sites for others to see. GPS could be used to leave virtual sticky notes in physical space.
"I was mugged in this park at 11pm"
"The service in this restaurant is slow"
"There's a nice walking path along the river behind these
buildings".
Admittedly I didn't find Third Voice very useful when I used it (very few good comments), and you'd have to have your GPS out all the time, but this somehow ties in with jutta's extension to Film Noir Home and the Brother From Another Planet stuff that reminded me of.
