I couldn't think of anything to say when I first read this, so I've come back to it later and I still can't.

       I don't geta it.

If cats wore clogs, they could cross Gravel Moats without fear of wayward particles becoming lodged between their claws. This is very basic stuff [jutta].
xenzag, Aug 07 2007

However, the clogs may be so heavy that they prevent the cat from jumping on to the furniture. Back to the clawing board Meownardo.

Wooden shoes. Cats. Brought together for your enjoyment. What more could this world need? Imagine it! A website - perhaps growing in fame sufficiently to be featured on a local news programme, as a bit of light relief - featuring pictures of cats wearing wooden shoes. There'd be, most obviously, a galleries section and, yes, this would be the part that would be most active, largely with the scanty clicks of transient surfers, with little to hold them beyond cheap yuks, for Geta Cats would not stoop to ratemy rankings oh no: each wooden-shoed cat is a thing to be treasured by all, each equally, differently wonderful. A joy. But the gallery is not all, no. Soon, a community would spring up, made up of those who found deeper meaning, perhaps even emotional reassurance, in the assorted jpegs and gifs of the gallery. A forum for discussion of all matters that inhabit the confluence of the feline and the clogular. A friendly, helpful forum full of sunny personalities and genial dispositions. Of course, there'd be the usual grab bag of know-alls and pedants sprinkled about the place but any curmudgeonliness would simply be a shield, soon lowered, most probably through secrets shared and made. And there might be a FAQ, too. Oh boy. Not another fad site, not another stoned 3am distraction, your half-shut eyes screaming in pain, bomber holes lined up in the curve where belly meets pigeon chest, while you click through, mesmerised and empty, until the joint burns down to your lips. No. Geta Cats: it'll rock your socks off!

don't try to save it with your brilliant prose, [calum]. you cad. stuff-on-my-cat should be good enough for you and if it's not, then maybe there's nothing in this world worth living for.
