This growth reducing compound is manufactured in a liquid form. Municipalities to home owners spray their lawns with it prior to peak growth periods, twice per annum, to reduce grass growth, thereby reducing maintanence costs. Think of the miles of highways, if they only needed to be mowed once a month,
instead of weekly
Here's what I came up with when I thought of the miles of highways, mowed only every other month.

It seems like it would take almost the same effort to spray the lawns as it would to mow them. At least that's the way it would be on highways. It would still take a tractor and a spray attachment, and might hae to be sprayed more often. Then, it would need to be mowed anyway. Also, it would probably be much more expensive. |
