It's sad. There have been a couple ideas like this one but people never think about it seriously. No no no, don't get me wrong. I'm aware that we all work and live quite far away from each other (at least that's my case) but I would really like to meet some of the bakers. If only we had agreed on ONE secret handshake... I might at least know I have the chance to bump into someone during my overseas travels. |

We have a houseguest staying with us from Brazil this week. I'll have to listen more closely to her accent even though her Portuguese and the real Portugal varieties sound different, at least to me. |

[bwv61], I'm in the UK and play golf in Portugal every November (in Vilamoura) so although it is my first venture to Lisboa I have been to your lovely country before. One of our number lived there for a number of years and is pretty well fluent but I agree about the language - more like 'Channel 9' from the 'Fast Show'. I can do French and a (small!) amount of German and Spanish but I never get time enough to learn Portuguese.
BTW the Golf Courses in Portugal are pretty damned good as far as I am concerned - we keep going back there!. |

How about hammock-inn? Hammocks tied into the poles and rafters of the warehouse. I would bring my hennessyhammock to sleep or lie-in. I live in New Zealand so how about some Hawaii beach and palm trees for hammocks? |
