There are times when the print is so small that I have to hold it far from my eyes in order to read it. Anticipating the day when my arms are no longer long enough to make that work I'd like manufacturers to design a hat that has a small fold-down magnifying glass built into the underside of a hat brim. Since I'm almost always wearing a hat that would give me a convenient way to read the fine print.

I've seen baseball caps with flip-down sunglasses under the brim, but a magnifying glass/reading glasses would be a handy thing.

If you have short arms there could be a telescopic extension arm on your hat for holding reading material further away and an accompanying telescope for use when the arm tip is further away than a dozen feet.

If you had a magnifying lens in the brim of your hat wouldn't your nose catch fire every time the sun came out?

To prevent nose conflagration the hat would incorporate a small automatic fire department. Mustaches and beards would have to be fireproofed.
