You could bluetooth it to your cellphone. Then all you'd need is a small bluetooth device, which would take up much less space and energy. |

Or, you could build a cellphone into your belt. Just strap it to your head for normal use. |

The option of bluetoothing it to the cellphone would work if you could be sure the first thing the theif didn't do was smash or toss the cellphone (if you happened to have one). They'd be a lot less likely to take off your belt and toss it. |

The main benefit of the belt over a cell phone is that attackers don't know about the belt device. But if the belt device becomes popular, kidnappers will just take away our belts when they take our cell phones. |
