As [xaviergisz] pointed out on the only idea I've resurrected from an account deletion, a lot of good annos got deleted (and a lot of long-winded bad annos too.)
Following the wayback link there are one or two ideas I actually wouldn't mind reposting, not the whole account, god no! The alcohol levels
or other states of mind I was in also brought with it a large amount of inane drivel, but to my surpise a few gems like "Water powered offshore water pumping thing" that I recently saw featured on a doomentary program.
Question is, should all annos be resurrected, or should it start afresh, living in the here and now and ready for new annos like a full pint glass of ice cold beer waiting for the first caress of a finger to form a rivulet from the condensation ?

Any documentary with a severely negative outcome. |
|
| |
Ressurect the whole package annos included, but edit some annos for hilarity. Put in some extras too. You can ascribe any errors to the wayback machine. |
|
| |
Edit the resurrection to take into account what you've learned since then; add a link to the old original for people curious about the history / the funny old annotations. |

I wish there were a way to remove all alcohol and
drug influenced ideas from an account. (Annos and
past relationships too?) |
|
| |
But alas, we must all face those demons eventually
anyway. |
|
| |
I don't think the alcohol is the major problem, its posting while depressed or bored. Btw, software engineers don't face daemons, they write them. |
|
| |
I just realized that if all my old alcohol and drug
influenced posts were removed, I wouldn't have had
to delete my accounts in the past. There would not
have been anything left of them anyway. Nada, Zilch.
Orez. Not one single word. Ever. |

Would it be a witty repost? |
|
| |
The repost / re-post ambiguity was intented, but admittedly it did rely on the faulty memory of repost meaning "at rest" as in "live again or let die". |
|
| |
I hope you like the witty re-post today. |

It is interesting that one cannot use google to search the wayback machine for a given text. Or at least I came up empty trying to learn more about Recursive Jousting. |
