I like this idea, only I think it should be run by the government.

Other signs seem to dance around the issue.

Herman felt queasy after his blood donation, and sat out the mandatory debriefing time in the lounge. He scanned the signage that adorned the walls and felt the In Case of Feeling Faint, In Case of Rebleeding or In Case of Nausea signs didn't address the root of his anxiety. He could faint, bleed and vomit ad infinitum and would probably learn to like it, however it was the underlying need for an In Case of Death Sign that nagged him. Here is a very tentative potential sign:

In Case of Death

1) Don't panic.*
2) Dont move and wait for help.
3) If it has felt like an eternity and help has not arrived try moving.
4) If there's a light, move towards it.**
5) If there's heat, move away from it.**
6) If you cannot move, try manifesting your thoughts into reality.
7) If thoughts manifest reality, you're in some kind of dreamworld, have fun.
8) If there is still nothing, you're in an abyss.
9) Repeat.

*Either completely accepting or rejecting religous dogma will help you here.
**It's a coin flip really, if you have a religion go with that.

       These could be printed up as brochures and handed out to death-row inmates, combat-bound soldier, and disseminated by police and EMS personnel at accidents.

       <Suggestion>

       If you are experiencing the burden of guilt from a past indiscretion, feel free to confess now.

       ***Caution, some confessions can lead to extreme amounts of shame***
