If some the ingredients are too solid for the Fish Mixer, use the Jellyfish Blender:

The hollow dome will always float upright on top of the substances while numerous extruded weedwhackeresque tentacles puree to your heart's content. On its lowest setting it can float in the punch bowl, idly stirring and illuminating the contents (LED pack sold separately).

I think your octopus will need something to push against or it will be ineffective.

the whisks each rotate on their own axis, not as a single unit... species changed 'cuz wikipedia says a man'o'war looks like a corkscrew and isn't really a jellyfish anyways.

       Extruded? Are you sure?

"to protrude" - nyaah... but I'm still considering how, if possible, to make the limbs variable length so possibly both definitions.

Seriously? I always thought the Man o' War was considered the biggest jellyfish. Wow... and I was just kidding about the extruded bit. "Extruded? Are you sure?" is an oft-appearing tagline up top, and I couldn't resist the reference ;D

Anyway, as to the idea... unless it completely covers the top and is secured to the edges of the bowl, I think you'll end up with a huge mess. I'm gonna stay neutral on this one.

has a pliable plastic fringe around the dome which can be used to seal the edges. gimme.

That would be the Lion's Mane jellyfish.
