LASERLawns

Damn, that's a nice lawn.

Contrary to what you see in the movies, LASER beams are pretty much invisible. Additionally, ones that will do any real damage are very expensive and costly to run.

Therefore, for the extraordinarily wealthy, the option of cutting your lawn with a LASER may be possible, if unlikely.

To make it more useful, LASERLawns have introduced the Super Lawn 5000 security system.

Fitting only to extremely level lawns, it cuts your lawn at night, training any errant strand of grass to keep its head down.

It also doubles as a security system, slicing the feet off any wannabe James Bond types who jump your garden walls.

If you want to go for a nighttime stroll in the garden then you need to wear our patented Super Lawn 5000 mirrored boots, to protect your feet.

It also does nasty things to cane toads, garden gnomes and dachshunds.

Optional mirrored lawn edgings. Depending on whether you like border shrubs or not.

"I like your duck, Sir". "No, it's a Heron"

Did you forget to search [UB]? I suppose the boots are an extension but it is pretty well redundant with the link, no?

//It also does nasty things to cane toads.// Frogs, foxes, deer, squirrels, hedgehogs and any other noctuenal roamers.

Also, you'd need a containment perimiter, otherwise, Mr Jones may get annoyed after the 11th or so Gnome decapitation incident.

Oi! leave it out mister! :-@
gnomethang, Apr 29 2005

Sorry [gnome], I wasn't thinking. I of course meant some kind of bearded troll-like fisherman decapitation incident.

       That's better!

I was aware of the various LASER lawnmowers. I was thinking more in terms of toad eradication and security system. Of course, "ha-ha dangerous" is not HBalal, so lawnmower it was.
UnaBubba, Apr 29 2005

I like HBalal!. Wrong category and description then. This is a laser device for cutting lawns apart from the last two paragraphs.
