For some reason, people seem to dislike cops. Of course, there are corrupt ones, but anybody who's ever been robbed or in some way violated against knows that they do their job to make the country safer. We have a day to commemorate veterans, and dead soldiers, so why not the urban peacekeepers that
serve us in our midst every day?

Proscribe the Law Enforcement Appreciation Day so we can celebrate the humble constable whilst sticking it to the Man. |

These are common. Most recently Iraq declared a day for this. |
