Lenticular corduroys

Corduroy pants with images printed on them using Lenticular printing technology so the pattern or color of your pants would change as you walk.

Note: these would probably have to be made out of some sort of plastic, but I’m fairly sure the target market for this wouldn’t mind so much.

Perhaps this could work with tattoos?

do my bums look big in these?

Surely this is the kind of thing that fashion students should be working on. Lenticular-motion-card-precedent would be for the trousers to alternate between two pictures of Disney characters in different poses. However, I think the killer would be for them to alternate between coloured and transparent. Hypnotic. Maybe I just regret having being born after the heyday of the miniskirt or the fishnet stocking.

Beautiful idea - Even the cheaper option where you don't use lenticular technology but just have each corduroy stripe coloured diffferently on each side would look cool, and change depending on the angle of view.

I am quite sure I have seen these in clubs around hollywood. At least I know I have seen shirts which use the effect. They do look pretty cool waving around changing color. quite psychadelic. Too colorful for my taste. I believe you can get them at Aardvarks or similar places.

       Why not?

I love corduroy. Just thought I'd get that out of my system.
