HIGH VOLTAGE!

60 conductors around a circle, with a tesla coil in the middle.

The conductors switch on to complete a circuit, and draw the electricity towards them, in time, and switch off to pass the electricity to he next one, which has been turned on.

Glass separates the different hands, and prevents people from touching them. A really thick bolt of electricity for the hour hand, a thinner one for minutes, and a really thin one for seconds.

See an anno about the Jacob's Ladder Pendulum! (right below the links, just past UnaBubba's anno)

Round it goes.....

Didn't find it. Though with the quotations, this idea was on the first page. [DesertFox, Feb 14 2005]

Short name, e.g., Bob's Coffee

Destination URL. E.g., http://www.coffee.com/

Description (displayed with the short name and URL.)

The Science Museum has a lightning clock, but it only, um, strikes once per hour.

DrCurry, Feb 12 2005

It would make some ozone, that clock.

bungston, Feb 12 2005

       Cool.

       Niczzz.

FarmerJohn, Feb 13 2005

"In just 7 days, I can make you a man."

UnaBubba, Feb 13 2005

DesertFox, Feb 13 2005

"There's a light (over at the frankenstein place)."

FarmerJohn, Feb 13 2005

I remember doing the Time Warp.

UnaBubba, Feb 13 2005

       That one lost me too.

DesertFox, Feb 14 2005

Wouldn't this drive animals completely nuts, and I'm not sure aobut you, but a few of my pets are insane enough already, but i'd bun it! [+]

froglet, Feb 14 2005

Croissant just for finding something that John hasn't done yet. ;-)

RayfordSteele, Feb 14 2005

It's just a jump to the left.

UnaBubba, Feb 14 2005

That one too, UnaBubba. What are you trying to say?

Are you trying to drive me nuts? (Too late...... I already am! Mwahahahaha!)

       .

Oh, and just think about how cool it would be with a downwards facing Jacob's Ladder pendelum, sending a current down the vanes every time it hits the high point of it's arc!

       ZZAAPP!

DesertFox, Feb 14 2005

Seek (on Google) and ye shall find.

FarmerJohn, Feb 14 2005

Ahhhhh! His annos are about a dance called the Time Warp!

DesertFox, Feb 14 2005

[DF] The non-sensical annotations are lines from "Rocky Horror Picture Show," which was probably before your time. Dr. Frankenfurter uses lightning to create the man of his dreams. "Just seven days..." is also from "Rocky Horror Picture Show," but originally came from Charles Atlas who promoted bodybuilding.

robinism, Feb 14 2005

And the whole movie was about the limitations of time and what people do with their time when it's limited.

Hire the movie, [DF], it's a cult classic.

UnaBubba, Feb 14 2005

FarmerJohn, could you be as kind as to do an illustration? You are the Halfbaker's Michelangelo.

DesertFox, Feb 14 2005

As opposed to the Halfbaker's Frida Kahlo? I'm none too pleased with the result.

FarmerJohn, Feb 15 2005

       Nice.

missingdonuts, Feb 16 2005

       Thanks, FJ!

DesertFox, Feb 16 2005

I don't think [bris] should be compared to Frida Kahlo.

UnaBubba, Feb 16 2005

       Yes, bristolz is good too.

Maybe we should have a "draw-off" between bris and FJ.
