MBTI video game on raising babies

psychological tests like the MBTI and big five can sort people into behavior clusters. Make 16 different how to parent videos based on addressing each type's strengths and improvables

The myers briggs test, and the better supported Big Five test can be used to sort people into personality clusters or types. Making a video game, perhaps like the sims, that teaches baby-raising could emphasize strengths while addressing possible deficits. The people could play the video game before the baby arrives.

On the MBTI there are things like Introversion and extroversion. It is possible an introvert could use the sims to learn to hug their baby more, and rack up points. An IJ (quiet and well organized person) could have their passion for order moderated somewhat. An EP (outgoing and spontaneous) person could practice going to well baby check ups and always speaking soothingly.

Actual measurement and research would be good, as it is unknown if I (introverts) actually hug their children only 2/3 as much as extroverts, or if people with measured as brash personalities actually express their stress at their children. Then there is always the question of what the right way to treat a baby is.

Still, it would be fun to play, and practice beneficial behaviors.

The thing is, [beany], that nothing worthwhile was ever accomplished by a well-balanced person.

We have still not received a satisfactory explanation of what babies are actually for.

Children, [8th], are very much like farts. You really only appreciate your own.

A video game on raising babies or any kind of children could be based on any quantitatively researched criterion.

The Met-Met version of the COMT gene makes people brash, and Val_Val makes them socially diffident. You could have baby raising software for your child's genome, or the genome of the parents.

All babies are awesome... just misunderstood.

I don’t know why it is but small children and animals just like adopt me at first sight. The older I get the weirder people seem to find it. I swear, if my wife and I go to anywhere with babies crying I just do a walk through, make eye contact with them and they all start cooing at me. Totally bizarre but handy as all get-out on long flights. It probably helps if you actually like them.

       Babies are cool.
Adults are far more problematic.

What is there to understand ?

The functionality is clear; makes incredibly annoying noises, pukes, frequently releases noxious gases and unbelievable amounts of liquid effluent, consumes vast resources, and eventually becomes an adult which treats its parents with undisguised contempt and derision and looks forward to the day when it can dump them in a cheap long-term care facility and take control of all their remaining assets, if any.

// It probably helps if you actually like them. //

But there's nothing likeable about them...

Anyway, an MTV video game on raising babies would probably sell a lot better.

That's what I said... adults suck, well some anyway.
My daughter seems to be an exception to that rule, just like her folks.

       //But there's nothing likeable about them...//

       Of course there is.
They have absolutely no preconceptions or prejudices. They never lie, cheat, steal, or premeditatedly use those around them. They make demands, but rely entirely on kindness for their survival.
...and they all seem to like me for some reason I haven't figured out yet no matter where they come from.

They don't hate my white skin and blue eyes until they have been conditioned to do so.
They coo at me and seem to instinctively know that I would stand between them and harm.
I like them very much.

I'm not sure it is something that can be taught [beanangel]. People either selflessly encourage potential or they squash it.
Those who squash it have either lost the empathy they were born with or had it squashed themselves.

That's puppies. Puppies are awesome. Babies are just disgusting.

Kittens are awesome too, some cats on the other hand...

Astrology is easier than MBTI and has just as much scientific validity

       //what babies are actually for//

Their purpose is the systematic conversion of all matter in the universe into more babies.

First we start with the existing biosphere, then we move on to supplementing it with mostly-inanimate matter (such as atmospheric nitrogen, acquired by processes such as Haber-Bosch).

Having mastered this, we expand off the planet and begin to exploit the asteroids, and so on and so forth.

Do you think this will make more clusters in the human spectrum or a few grey goos? I consider, less number of more meaningful hugs better than a larger number of confused meaning ones.

This game still might be a good vehicle to upskill on current basics so each cluster has needed raw material to sculpt with.

Speaking of babies - US news "birth of a baby boy to a woman who has spent the last 14 years in a vegetative state has sparked an investigation at a Phoenix nursing facility..."

If he was born on the 25th..
